Eating peanut butter at night helps you sleep well. Some people argue it’s not a good idea because of its carb and fat contents.

This may be true for unhealthy nut butter. However, research shows if you feel tired and unable to sleep, peanut butter can make you sleep well due to the presence of tryptophan.

Nut Butter as an Alternative

If you crave nut butter but don’t feel comfortable eating peanut butter, try other alternatives, such as coconut butter, almond butter, cashew butter, and soy butter. These offer many nutritional benefits and are the best substitutes for peanut butter.
